I just stumbled on this post and am having the same problem on Bing. The sub links showing are no longer in existence and it was driving us crazy. I expect the Bing webmaster tool will fix the problem but never thought of it before so thanks.

Great points. I hate when you click on something that has no interest to you. I did, however, find a company to ship 2 cars for me to Europe using random sources. Auto Shipping Network did a great job. Keep up the good work!

Great find linda. I always wanted to discuss about Google sitelinks on our blog retail-ecommerce.com. You said it right, Google sometimes show up irrelevant links that is of least important to the online shoppers on SERP. I blocked a link (Careers) from a sitelink for one of our apparel retailers as it had many other relevant & category lists to show on the sitelinks.

Great catch…its frustrating sometimes as a customer to land up on a page which has no relevance to the link you clicked on…the business users need to be aware enough to get such links flushed from search results…

I try to keep up with this regularly. I’ve had to block 3 different Christmas sitelinks following the holiday season.
