  1. The bad news outweighs the good, methinks. Average order values are down, margins are cut and e-commerce’s percentage of the total retail pie is under 4%. Again. Still.

    Senator Rockefeller’s committee did sweet FA to tackle the shopping club scams. The e-commerce biz still hasn’t grasped the fraud nettle.

    I only hope that the tough market encourages e-tailers to innovate, to find the medium’s mojo. There is plenty of room for the next wave.
