Just a quick post regarding the website you mention vente-privee.com. I have been a member of the new UK site for 2 months now and can assure you that you certainly don't need to be rich to join! I bought from two sales - Tommy Hilfiger and Paco Rabanne, and the prices were pretty cheap. Delivery took quite a long time though. I'd say that's the only real downside.
