I hope security marks are covered…very often the forgotten piece of the puzzle here is getting consumers pushed past the fear of having their credit card numbers stolen, and security marks (along with strong encryption like extended validation ssl) is a good way to do that. I work for VeriSign and we’re constantly reading third party reports that say a lack of security is a top reason for abandoned shopping carts. Anyone have any other thoughts there, though? It’s a wide market, what with SSL and malware scanning rolled into the mix, and one still often needs a security seal to win consumers’ trust.
