Jason Billingsley Raps With The Cart Blog
Scott Wilson from the Cart Blog recently interviewed Elastic Path’s VP of Innovation. We don’t talk about it much here on Get Elastic, but we’re actually an ecommerce software company (that is also hiring). Jason answers questions about Java, entry-level ecommerce solutions and open source ecommerce software.
Scott, AKA “That Software Guy” is a Zen Cart master who blogs about ecommerce topics when he’s not busy with his client projects and side gig at Nielsen Media Research. Do “check out” the Cart Blog.

Questions
we are in middle of website construction with 3rd party for our new sports nutrition supplement company.
- How and when do we integrate GetElastic e-commerce software into our website -order/checkout page?
- What is your feedback as to custoner satisfaction with google checkout v Paypal?
- while we could integrate both, when do we start confusing customer? (we want to include some type of pay-by-check option as well)
- doesn’t google checkout limit flexability with using alternative checkout options?
- Besides higher transaction cost with Paypal credit card checkout, does merchant incur additional fees when withdrawing funds held by Paypal?
- Are there links to content writers, particularly those with experience with dietary supppemnt e-commerece merchants?
What is pricing for GetElastic to review our website before it goes live and suggest improvement/modifications for customer appeal and positive SEO results.
Thanks for the great source of information on e-commerce.
Regards,
Bill
