The other thing these brand pages show us is that ‘covering the basics’ and being consistent works. Notice on any of their brand pages the flow of keywords from the title tag, to the h1 tag, to the paragraphs, to the href/call-to-action. It doesn’t get much more white-hat than that!

Hi Tom, of course this is true

But do the ends justify the means (top ranking for branded keywords)?

I might be the only person that found this list helpful – I liked to see at a glance the breadth of brand offerings…but people are learning to surf “tag clouds” so maybe that’s training us to tolerate this kind of thing?
