Haha! I remember doing this as a kid. We had it all planned out. My friend and I went to a DairyMart and while one of us counted out 99 pennies for an ice cream snickers bar as the cashier watched, the other would sneak behind the counter and grab a Playboy magazine. When the magazine was out the door we just pulled out a dollar bill and grabbed the pennies…those were the days!

Yes, yes, YES!!! WAAAAYYY smarter than the Elf Yourself campaign.

Kudos to OfficeMax for finally getting the idea that you can do something funny (if not interactive, like Elf Yourself) and actually use it to sell products and support your brand at the the same time.
