I do not know how much truth their is to it, but it wasn't once, I read a couple of different articles about it.

I read recently that Google made some changes in their algorithm and that your site activity is now going to be taken into consideration for placement in SERPS and hence ranking. Off topic (sort of) here's a great piece by Dave Naylor why real-time search is a #FAIL

Google is still personalizing your logged out search, as described in the link in my first post. You like Twitter results, so Google is bumping them up for you. I never look at Twitter--not that Google would know because I have Firefox set to delete cookies, session information, etc. upon shut-down.
So... Google knows you like Twitter, and puts those results at the top for you. When I search "yesstyle" and "getelastic", there are no Twitter results.

Hardly luck of the draw. It shows up for searches like "yesstyle" and "getelastic" but not for "walmart" or "target" yet. Luck of the draw, I guess.

Hi Anonymous, I’ve tested it both logged in and logged out. This never happens to me, and it's clear from the screen shot that you were logged into some kind of Google service.

Sorry I wasn’t clear in the first comment.
