We’re grateful to be nominated in this year’s Search & Social Awards alongside great Conversion and ROI blogs Wider Funnel, GrokDotCom, Site Tuners and others.
If your RSS reader is looking a bit thin lately, voting in these awards is a great way to “discover” blogs that you want to read in categories like SEO, PPC, affiliate management, Web analytics and social media.
It’s also a great way for the Search & Social Internet marketing firm to get a ton of backlinks from all the nominated blogs, very clever!
Go ahead and check out the nominees here. Voting ends May 1.

Hmmm,
unfortunately their form is a great example of how not to set up an online voting form;
and how to make sure people don’t vote.
I was all set to vote for you, but when I pressed the Vote Now button I was confronted with a huge page that went below the fold and asked me to give a rating to everyone in the list.
There’s no way I’m going to waste time doing that.
I just wanted to vote for you, not rank dozens of other suspects I’d never even heard of.
Hi Mark,
Yes the form is quite complicated but the upside is you might discover some great blogs in those categories, you are also free to skip over any categories/blogs that you don’t read.
Nevertheless, I understand. Thanks for your intent to vote for us anyway
Yes, I did discover a few new ones I’d never heard of, thanks for that.
The form itself I think is exactly what Bryan Eisenberg was recently talking about in making forms scary and intimidating.

I took one look and I was gone.
Such is life.
