I have also come across a menu maker that allows you to create SEO friendly menus, called AllWebMenus. Its easy to use and although based on DHTML and JavaScript, it also gives you the option to create SEO friendly menus based on UL LI structure.

Hi, I came across this blog post while searching for help with JavaScript. I have recently changed browsers from Chrome to Microsoft IE 6. Now I seem to have a issue with loading JavaScript. Every time I browse website that needs Javascript, my computer doesn’t load and I get a “runtime error javascript.JSException: Unknown name”. I cannot seem to find out how to fix the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

@Synchronium, according to “View Source” all your breadcrumb sub-nav links are being crawled by the search engine so you’re safe there. Interesting, I’ve never seen breadcrumbs turned into sub-menus, nice idea.

Nice resource. I plan on referring to this document in the future. I’ve told our developers for quite some time that if/when creating this type of navigation that they need to make sure they are not wrapping links within javascript.

Nonetheless, I personally believe that this article does a great job incorporating a nice balance of techeze and non-techeze so that each stakeholder in our future projects will get it.

Am I missing something important, or is that a perfectly acceptible way of doing things?
