Dangerous Marketing Ahead:
How to Break Bad Habits and
Survive a Deep Recession

Using the Force at Online Market World + Webinars!

Later this week, Jason Billingsley will be presenting a Star Wars themed talk titled: E-Commerce “Must-Haves” and “Should Haves” for the Small, Medium and Growing Business at Online Market World. I had a peek at the slide deck, and I have to say it looks entertainingly brilliant.

This session is one of 3 that make up the Online Market World eCommerce Technology Module (thanks to Bernardine Wu from FitForCommerce for pulling this all together). These sessions are of special interest to E-commerce managers, IT managers, Web/hosting/infrastructure managers, CFOs and lead web design/development managers.

Here are the details:

Focus: While e-marketers, e-merchandisers and customer experience managers are focused on the storefront-like customer experience, the e-commerce/technology manager needs to keep the infrastructure operating flawlessly while providing the flexibility and adeptness to offer up the customer experiences and e-commerce capabilities needed to stay competitive. This module will cover relevant topics important to e-commerce/technology professionals including those that keep us up at night (e.g. hosting, scalability and reliability) and those that provide competitive advantage (e.g. features, functions, systems).

Sessions:

1. E-Commerce ‘Must Have’ and ‘Should Have’ Capabilities for the Small, Medium and Growing Online Company

Holiday Wish List for Mobile Commerce

Retailers love growing store traffic and improving the brand experience, but mobile devices are rarely part of the equation. Present-day technology isn’t ready for mobile checkout. In this webinar, you will learn how to:

• Engage in-store consumers and get them to register their device
• Deliver enhanced product information to consumers in the aisle
• Direct shoppers to alternate store locations with available inventory
• Create wish lists in store and share gift registries for holiday shopping
• Personalize recommendations and promotions for cross-channel consumers

Guest Speaker: Bill Mirabito, Founder and Principal Consultant, B2C Partners
