It is clear that video and ecommerce has a perfect fit :-)

Interesting article. Treepodia, the leading provider of video solutions for online retailers, has a very interesting concept of covering the entire catalog with products video, based on images.<br

Which i think is a good thing music artist need to be supported, if they are not there will be less music available to us all and that is not a good thing, also not being able to listen to a whole album before you buy it will encourage customers to buy more music that they wouldn't necessarily buy. In the days before u tube and i tunes i would always buy music on a limb and quite often i would regret a purchase to begin with, only to find after a few listens they became a favorite band of mine. People are missing out.

The crackdown on music downloads will definitely increase music sales. Yes, it is beneficial to companies like EMI but it is rarely beneficial to to the artists. We here in music city know well how screwed artists get from the backwards practices of the music industry.
I think video eccomerce will be a major part to eccomerce as a whole. Lat week I read a case where product video actuall increased conversions. Anyone remember where that post might be?

“Though the new policy sucks for Youtube fans and music samplers like me, it’s beneficial to music companies like EMI”

Yes, it is beneficial to companies like EMI but it is rarely beneficial to to the artists.
