Cork’d is a social network for wine lovers and its complementary video podcast “Wine Library TV” has a lot of neat features. Check out my 11 reasons why I heart this podcast (even though I’m not much of a wine drinker):

1. Vivacious Host

There’s nothing worse than a monotone host. Not a problem for Gary Vaynerchuk.

Viewers can add tags or comments to the video, vote each others’ comments up and down and reply to other comments – right on the timebar:

There’s also a link in the sidebar for viewers to ask questions. Great to give viewers / subscribers some involvement in the show. And it gives podcasters idea when you get podcaster’s block.

4. Puts the URL at the Beginning of the Video

This is important. When you allow people to post your content on their site or on video sharing sites – you want people to know you were the geniuses behind it all.

You can have it your way, select any or as many networks to connect with Gary. They’re all available in a neat little sidebar.

The video links didn’t work for me, but then again I’m on a Mac and this is not uncommon.

Cork’d and Wine Library TV are affiliate marketing projects that educate customers and send them to a site where they can buy wine online. This is a win, win, win wine situation.
